Netscape Communicator Download

Downloading Netscape Communicator which includes Composer
Go to http://home.netscape.com click the download icon with the arrow on it at the top center of the page and begin the download for the type of operating system that you have (Windows 95/98/Mac etc.). After you have initially taken this action there should be an icon on your desktop for "Smart Download" which will have a Netscape "N" icon. You should double click that icon while you have an internet connection active and you will find that you being the "real download" of the Netscape Communicator program. It will take a while, depending on your Internet connection. The file will probably download to a directory called "My Download Files" which will be on C:\ . Double click the My Computer icon on the desktop and then double click the C: drive and then double click My Download Files. Double click the filename which has just been downloaded (cc-4.7x.exe or something to that effect) in that directory when you have completed the download and you will be prompted through the rest of the installation process.
