1. Design a webquest (a curriculum - oriented research project that students will perform usually as a member of a team within a specific role in a context described by the teacher) to be used in your classroom, following the design principles illustrated on the Webquest link.
*The WebQuest must be submitted in HTML (web) form*
The page needs to have graphics, links to related sites (with web addresses - URLs), and other webquest elements. Please see the Web Site Requirements for details.
2. Clearly identify the audience for the webquest (i.e.. 8th grade social studies) and the Standards of Learning being addressed.
3. Each Webquest should contain the following components:
introduction - Be creative,
set the scene (context) where the learning will take place
task - the "big" picture, no
small details here
process - describe in detail
the steps to be taken
resources - include off line
as well as online resources
evaluation - set up clear criteria
on which the project will be assessed (a rubric, maybe?)
conclusion - sum up what we
have learned and experienced
You may add other sections
(as seen in webquest examples)
4. Go to the webquest site and look at as many examples as possible.

5. Rubric that details how will you be graded on this project?
